Default July restaurant review

Port 31 / L'Armirant - not reviewed on here for a while but this has gone up in quality again, not necessarily traditional tapas, just really good quality food even better presented and great staff.

La Llonja - can't go wrong, although a little bland menu this time

Casa V'lla - in the square, very busy and the 7.00pm and 9.00pm sittings makes the staff very panicked around these times. Our table wasn't free so we had to sit inside, but great lamb and pizzas

El Posito - a long time favourite, but think serving the main meat dishes with fried veg and chips does them few favours, a bit lazy - expensive now as well

Na Ruixa - top class, fantastic mussels and paella as good as you can get and huge portions.

We go to Port 31 at least once a visit, very friendly staff, great tasting food, lovely presentation. Had a great chat with the owner, he and the chef spend a lot of time during the winter months trying new recipes tweaking different combinations of sauce and meat until they come up with something good enough to add to the menu.

It is next to either Brisas or Iru. It has now changed its name to Tapas y Punto and is the sister restaurant to L'almirant ( there is a gift shop separating them )
