Default Breakfast in Pollensa

Hello all.

Me, Mr Bird and Mama Bird arrive very late next Sunday so will just be going straight to bed and then will need a stiff cup of coffee and a nice bite to eat in the morning. What are your recommendations for a blissful breakfast in the Old Town?

Thanks, PP Forum Hive Mind!

LB x

PS I am ridiculously over-excited. But Sparky please could you ask the weather to cool down just a tad? Specifically, I'm after about 27 degrees? Ta

We like buying a croissant or other pastry from the patisserie around the corner from Il Giardino (it belongs to them too) & then ordering coffee on their restaurant terrace in the square. If they know you have patisseries they'll bring you a plate!

Seconded on the suggestion of Il Giardino on the main square. They do a continental breakfast with juice, coffee, a pastry, jam and bread for around 6.50 Euros.

Is Bar Espanol in the main square? If so then it must be very close to Ca'n Moixet.

LOL here we go again

It's no different from people referring to Bar Cultural in PP square as the Corner Bar

Depends which corner you're on I suppose

I would agree with breakfast in Giardinos. Nothing better than sitting there watching the world go by on market day .

And I would agree with Debz, was doing just that this time last week and give anything to be there now - pastries, coffee, location - perfect!!

The Tapas Tree (previously The Ivy Garden) does a good English or if you want the view, The Joker on the Pinewalk has been a family favourite for many years.

Thank you. We tried the Joker and it was fine although service a bit slow. Tapas tree does look nice so we may try that if we go out for breakfast again
