Feel like a simple supper tonight - any one recommend a place to go for decent roast chicken & chips. TIS

Thanks for that everyone.
Chicken was to die for, chips very disappointing but you don't need them with the fab chicken..
Great evening had and a great bargain

Another very good place for chicken and chips is 'Take Eat Easy' (next door to Mombassa, on the front) 8.50€ (I think). Lots of healthy options too.

We ate amazing rotiserrie chicken and chips at La Roca Beach Club if you fancy a wander down that far.

I could eat that right now...

I have enjoyed this post as I am partial to chicken and chips and I am very pleased that nobody has commented to say why do you want chicken and chips when you are in Majorca as in the past when someone has asked about Chinese or Indian food for example.

I am on holiday and I will have what I want! I am also sure that the locals will want to eat these things too!

Why on earth would you want "Chicken and Chips" when there are such good Burger, Chilli, Curry, Pizza places!!

Thumbs up

Thank you for the "likes" to my previous post.

Like Tangofan, its nice to be able to say what you enjoy, food wise, without criticism of individual tastes.

I enjoy local fare, but I also enjoy more familiar dishes now and again, especially when you are lucky to spend a month or so at a time in this wonderful island resort.

Variety is the spice of life, as they say.

The ability of the resort to cater for all tastes and budgets is important in its continued prosperity and success.

Looking forward to more reviews and recommendations for "plain food", those dishes you just crave when you've had enough of those "High Dining" experiences.

Keep them coming...
