Default Big Ben (formerly TYM Chill-out bar)

Another new restaurant has opened in PP, it's called "Big Ben" and is what used to be TYM chill-out bar, they have posted this on FB :-

A place to spend unforgettable hours, from the delicacy of our typical Mediterranean dishes mixed with authentic Cuban flavor that characterizes us and enjoy the pleasure of the most excellent wines from our cellar chosen with infinite pleasure and taste. We expect: Yami and Marvin.

Saddly we are due to fly home today (boooo) - we are all gutted as it's been a great 2 weeks.
Anyway our apartment was up this end of the port and our first evening was spent in Big Ben, and it was really nice with live music playing (a couple - women singing, and guy playing guitar), and Mario who worked there being such a nice guy.
As our first week ended we saw Big Ben get less and less busy, and into this last week where it hasn't even opened.
I think we may have witnessed the end of Big Ben, which is quite sad as it was a lovely place to stop by and just chill.

We walked past it a few weeks ago on the way back from Tango and it was quite empty then. It looked nice though so will be a great shame if it can't continue. It is quite out of the way there with little passing trade though it is opposite Flora of course but probably people generally don't know it is there.

I think your right tangofan - I did read that there was talk of it joining the tapas route a while back - maybe that is what it could have done with, but I am not sure it ever did.

A definite shame if it is the end.

Oh no, I hope it hasn't closed. I posted a review back in June on this lovely little place. My husband and I both hoped it wouldn't suffer from lack of passing trade and hoped that if word got around it may do very well. It was going to be one of our first ports of call in October.
