Is it just me or do those prices seem higher than last year?
7.50 for a JD and Coke when last year was 5.50 seems a large hike.
I know the exchange rate is in our favour but still seems high.

I think some items have gone up, especially the beer and wine

In fairness they are large measures though - well I can't speak for the wine and the beer, but the cocktails seem to keep me going for hours! And still quite a bit cheaper than bars in the UK.

Over the last two days he's been putting up lights. Told me he it's going to be like Blackpool Illuminations! When I asked him where he'd get the money to pay for the electric he just laughed. Maybe the reason for the price increase. Will still get my business though!

Well, it depends where in England you live... here a pint is a minimum of £3.60 in most bars - so Bonys is still pretty competitive at the moment, given the strength of sterling.

I'm more interested in the strength of the cocktails Kate!

Remember the size of the measures! The place! the Host! the setting! And everything that comes with drinking at Bonys! And I think you will find its still great value for money. To compare the prices to any pub in the UK is simply not comparing Apples with Apples. So relax and get ready to enjoy the madness of Bonys and hope you don't get fined for crawling home on your hands and knees

Must agree Mein host is great to watch and it's always got a great atmosphere, we're on holiday, a euro here or there on a couple of drinks doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Well we don't really drink much anyway but love the place, but please could someone call in a get some non alcoholic beer ordered in, then I would be a totally happy bunny.

That's an interesting point Pips. Is non/low alcohol beer/low alcohol wine readily available in the bars and restaurants. Only asking as hubby is taking antibiotics and will need to perhaps curtail his consumption when we are out this weekend........poor him

Yes, quite a few bars do them now, and quiet a few manufactures now 'sin alcohol' beers, San Miguel and Mahou to name two!

As said quite a lot of places do have non or sin alcohol beer San miguel is good, or becks blue there are others, not as nice as the real thing but I've no choice. Never asked about wine so not sure on that one. Have a great time whatever you're drinking.

It looks to me as if the price for our usual 2 baguettes & 2 beers at lunch is the same as last year. I'm not sure if the price of an evening G&T has increased either ... I'm looking forward to the next visit to Bonys regardless
