Bar Katy was much further up past Little Italy. There was only ever apartments along that stretch. It's not the apartment where the Chinese massage man used to live is it?

It says it's number 7 so must be 2 doors along from "La Balada del Agua Del Mar" which is number 5.
I haven't been down that way since Los Pescadores closed down so really don't know .

Just a thought but I believe, within the last year or so, there was no "change of use" allowed at least for premises on the Pine Walk so the new restaurant can't be in what was previously a domestic dwelling?

This is not some early April Fool's Day joke is it?!

Yes that is right but if plans had been submitted and approved before the cut off date then i would think that they can go ahead.

Always assuming that there has been a change of use, wherever this restaurant is .

When we visited in Jan, we saw that an apt on Pine Walk, just by the fig tree with tabby cat restaurant was having a complete refurbishment..ie..gutted inside. We were particularly interested as we had stayed in the apt a few years ago. It had grey railings round it, & we felt 'fenced in' Additionally the place was actually rather creepy at night!! Maybe this is 'the' one!!!!

Chelseadons has just got back from THE 'big match' and not very happy at all
He's just read this thread and concurs with what I've said ...except

It wasn't a Chinese massage man......he was Japanese

Having walked past there in February, it looked like the massage guy's place that was being converted

Amazing! Never thought the whereabouts of a new burger and pizza joint would create such entertaining debate!

It's been a long, long winter Jonsey and until the tourist season starts we have to entertain ourselves while we wait for holiday reports .

Well, hopefully, someone can throw a "chink" of light on this before we " Nippon " to another subject.

If anyone knows for sure, perhaps they can leave a " Massage in a bottle "

I think you might be right. We were out over the New Year and there was a ground floor apartment in that area totally gutted with steel girders everywhere. Bet that's it?! Lorenzo is very quiet re this. Must be close to her place?!

Yes, the massage man was definitely Japanese. He made us laugh due to his home made sign saying he was visiting from Japan but never left!

May the enigma continue.........
