Cod Father
 

Has anyone taken over the Cod Father and is Tangos moving in to any where else.

I haven't heard any news about The Codfather but Tango is moving into the old Trio building, opening next month :).

I was told by a popular bar owner that the Codfather was not reopening! :confused:

The cod father, has been renamed Llevant and there is newmobile number. There was some work going on inside when I went past the other day.

Does anyone know what sort of restaurant, or any other premises, it will be then?
I assume by the change of name it will no longer be a chippy?!

Looks like it is going to remain a chippy as they have placed the Llevant sticker over where the cod father name used to be and dito for the phone number.. No other signage changes otherwise..

It would be great if it was a Spanish tapas bar as we could pop down in a flash as just just across the street. Still miss Ivy Garden :(

You will be pleased to hear that the Ivy Garden has been taken over by the owners of Tribecca, i was told it will open next month .

Maybe they can join la ruta?

Restaurant Llevant has a new Facebook page, and looks lovely with a nice sun terrace

Whoops posted twice, can you delete one for us Sparky mate? Perhaps we should rename the thread as well, unless Cod Father are reopening somewhere else, if not I wonder what happened to the fryers, that would have been an expensive piece of kit!!

I am not going to change the title of this thread but we can start a new one when Restaurant Llevant is up and running :).

I hear the new restaurant has now opened and I also hear good things about it - does anyone have any first-hand reports? (Sparky, I thought I'd leave it to you to start a new thread as I expect you'll want to move some posts across.)
