Default Bon Menjar formerly Serenity Coast.

Serenity Coast (the Chinese beside the church) is no more .

But it is still going to be a restaurant, called Bon ????? (sorry can't remember the full name, will check out the sign again later) serving Mallorcan cuisine. I am told that the owner/chef is a local guy and his wife is Chinese, will keep you posted as to when it opens but i think it will be quite soon as they have already got the furniture out and the inside looks ready to go .

Authentic(?) Mallorquin has got to be better than another Chinese restaurant, too many as it is and none are really any good anyway. Hardly ever saw anyone in the place.

Good luck to the new venture.

Nick i have to say that we have had some really excellent meals in Serenity Coast as well as Dragon Orient and Luna de Miel, have also enjoyed a few take-aways from them over the years.

Agreed, we have had some great meals in most of the Chinese places especially the Luna de Miel, interesting to hear more about the new place though, its fairly big on the inside as well, another place to try in the summer!

It's funny, I wouldn't really ever choose a Chinese meal whilst on holiday - I'm sure I'd think differently if I lived in PP though. I do wish PP had a good Thai restaurant - Chinese food in restaurants always seems to be deep-fried. Thai food is just that bit healthier.

I must say that I have not had a Chinese meal in the Port for a number of years.....Maybe the Indian Restaurant, Mirch Massala, is just so good I go whenever I can.

We have walked pass the Serenity Coast almost every evening on our way out or on our way home, and there was rarely any people there, so not surprised.
