Default Brisas Marina

It appears the chefs from last year have been sent on their way and new ones have been installed for this year. Also a brand new menu has been drawn up with a massive leaning towards fish. Some of my favourites have now gone from the menu, Stuffed mussels and pigs cheeks to name but 2. I had the rabbit and Mrs pollensafan had Hake with prawns and clams in a parsley sauce. Both delicious. On another visit we had the paella. As it was a new chef we had to try it and it was magnificent. I await to see what other brisa regulars think when they get to visit.

Will look forward to this as Brisas Marina is one of my favourites and I always choose fish there anyway - it's a 'fishy' sort of place! (In a good way!)

Yep it always was fishy, but now it's nearly all fish. 15 choices of fish and 5 that are not if I counted correctly ( not counting pasta dishes ect )

We have been to Brisa Marina for many years and never been disappointed but I have to say the meal that we had there last April was dreadful. We did not have MDD but chose off the menu. waited ages for starters but no sooner had we finished they cleared the plates away then our mains were put on the table. The food had sat around a while as my food was cold and the sauce that was on OH meal had a "skin" on it where it had barely been kept warm. I was unwell that evening and was reluctant to try it again on other visits to PP last year.
perhaps with new chefs then it may be worth trying again in April

I notice that they have put up the price of their MDD, but ate there on Sunday, but with one small potato the portions were not very generous although food was good.

Yep, As I said it is a new menu, new chefs and prices have gone up this year, but to be fair they had been static for ages.

Well I just hope it's not [B]too[B] fishy Although my OH is a fish fan - I can't even stand the smell We always had a good meal there and the service was good - as was the food with a good choice for non-fish fans. Oh well, we'll give a try in summer
