Default Restaurant Siller

Hi Just wondered if anyone could let me know their thoughts on this restaurant. I have heard it serves good food but haven't eaten there myself and wondered what kind of food they serve and how it compares to places like Stay, Can Costa, La Terazza etc?

A simple restaurant off the beaten track but the food is excellent. Typically Mallorcian and very popular with the locals. Manuel the owner used to run Daus in Pollensa. His wife is the chef and most of the produce is grown on their farm. One of the specialities are sizzling steaks which are presented uncooked on individual hot plates for you to cook to your liking :b . The menu is always changing as different produce comes into season.

It is an absolutely charming restaurant and the service is second to none. Manuel takes such a pride in his work and nothing is too much trouble..deffo worth a visit

This sounds a great place
Can you tell me exactly where it is situated.
We're in PP for two weeks as from tomorrow and will definitely give the Siller a try.
Thanks

Hi RedRobbo I think this restaurant is at the back of PP just down one of the streets off the new road running through to Formentor but maybe Debz can give us exact directions. Lucky you off to PP tomorrow, have a great time, maybe you could let me know how your visit to Restaurant Siller went on your return. Happy Holiday.

There are a few tables outside but there is a much nicer ambience inside. Thr restaurant is in a fairly tucked away side street away from the main port area and it's not that easy to expain its location as I don't know the road names :\ If you take the new bypass road and go past Caprabo heading towards Formentor the restaurant is the 2nd turning on the right.....I think?!! Manuel had put a sign up by the turning last year so hopefully that will still be there!

Thanks for that Debz - I've a pretty good idea where you're talking about.
I shall let Lady Pollensa know how good it is when I get back - or even earlier if I log-on at the cafe next to Caprabo!

I'd have to pluck up courage for that!
Best after 9pm? Wonder why that is...presumably the rioja has started to kick in! (Only joking).

Chat room, I take it thats another name for the football forum! Maybe someone should open a new football category on the site! no only joking that will certainly kill off the banter on any other topics.
