Default Challenge for you

Can you please name 7 Restaurants that we could visit for a meal. We would like to try a traditional one and one in pollensa town amongst them. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys. So eating at Stay, Blaxia and alike is out of our budget.Rough directions if posible please.
We are stopping in CSV and have tried most restaurants there in previous years, which ones do you people like in CSV our favorite is the one where you cross the storm drain and they cook the steak over a BBQ.

Hi Dolgoed, that is a challenge three teenagers! What about Tango's just off the square in PP. La Fortalesa on the PP/Formentor Road, which does some lovely traditional mallorquin dishes, El Posito is always a good bet and I am sure as your'e passing the various menus along the way you will see something which takes your fancy as often a spur of the moment decision adds to the flavour of the holiday! Have a great time, don't eat too much!

Why not try Balaixa for lunch the kids can use the Pool mum and dad can get on with the drinks and things. I think the menu of the day is about 18 euros
El Posito is always a good bet.
Lenaire along the beach to Alcudia is very nice
La Fortelaisa is also very good
I could go on all day about the nice places to eat
I arrive in PP today so I will be trying all the local goodies
Have a nice holiday

Dolgoed

Bodega Ferra or C'an Ferra is a good bet ......... really reasonable and great food , would probably need to book if you want to eat before 9 ( though maybe always in August )

Bodega Ferra is in the Centre near the roundabout, more or less behind the Eolo

Coral Bar and Laroc are also very good value
These are both 1 st back from the pine Walk, 1st turning left after the Bahia if you are walking from the centre

I edited the PP map to mark some of the places we eat for a friend of mine, it's in Powerpoint format ....... I've tried embedding it into this post but am not technically capable of such feats ...... I will try to send it to you via your ezinbox

Enjoy your holiday

Can;t send it via ezinbox either, if anyone has any idea how I do this can they please post me some advice ...... but not on this thread or we will get slapped wrists

We always have one cheap and cheerful meal at TOTs in PP
Can't grumble at the price and our teenage kids love the menu ( even if we do personally prefer something more mallorcan for one night they get their way and it's not expensive )

Lots of places in the square that I would think would be reasonable and have a buzz for teenagers.
Pizza places around everywhere.....

Looks as if Barquita should be on your list, see its separate post.
Perhaps one night the teens can have a pizza somewhere and you grownups can splash out at Stay or whatever and meet up later for a coffee??
