Default Closed for La Patrona.

I thought I would let you know that both El Posito and La Roda will be closed this Friday and Saturday so the owners can participate in the Moors and Christians Battle in Pollenca .
I will post here if I hear of any others.

P.S. The Golden Lion will be closed on Friday 2nd Aug.

We're a family of four (2 grown-up kids) here in PP (Siller) for a couple of weeks & were thinking of visiting the "Patrona" in Pollensa tomorrow night & looking or advice.

What would be the best time to go?

We've got a car but I think parking would be difficult & I'd like to "enjoy" the festivities as well Will it be relatively easy to get a taxi from PP to Pollensa? & back later at night?

Will it be possible to find somewhere to eat in Pollensa?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Here is the link to the timetable http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...-pollensa.html and here is a picture of the area where the battle takes place, it shows danger areas for the infirm, elderly and children and also parking areas.

The town will be very busy so I am sure most paces will be open for at least part of the night but of course it would be necessary to book a table and as for taxis, you will probably find it will be a long wait, have fun .
