Hello Dolgoed

I'll have a look when we go out on the 15th

I love Cala San Vicente and we normally go there for a walk and a drink at the Bar Mallorca - I love the view over the bay.

Whereabouts is Trotters? Is it on the first bay where there are a few bars and restaurants?

Regards
Jane

I'm pretty sure that Trotters is now closed in CSV, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but THANK THE LORD. There are, in my own personal view, far too many of these awful "English Pubs" in PP and surrounding areas.
I know that many will feel differently, but what on earth do people want to go abroad for and eat and drink exactly what you can get at home. Sorry if I sound like Victor Meldrew but these establishments spoil the place totally.

OK, I've had my say, it's over to you lot

Greetings Mallorcaboy,

Couldn't agree with you more. Close them all down, I say.

Jimsboy.

I agree entirely and can't understand why PP Council allowed a Burger King to open!

Well that's put Dolgoed ever posting on the site again!! Totally agree with everyone as I too don't like all the English pubs, but everyone it entitled to their own point of view!! We only tend to go to the Mallorcan restaurants and bars as we can visit pubs and have a chinese when we come back to the UK!

Hi there !

Maybe dolgoed put up the topic tongue in cheek.

I revisited my post on Burger King last October and that was a right hornet's nest at the time.

What a crowd of growlers we can be at times!

You're right Portofan, maybe we should start a new subject, ""PPGOM" (Puerto Pollensa's Grumpy Old Men). :\

Very funny, Mallorcaboy!!

Can my hubby join? He's permanently grumpy!:lol

Perhaps it's the male menopause...

Jane (who's always happy, especially when she's got a glass of Mallorcan wine in her hand. Cheers!!)

Hi
well I almost agree with you all.We always rent a house about 5 doors up from Trotters in CSV. After a meal in PP or in one of the restaurants in CSV the children like to pop in on the way home for a game of pool and a night cap for us. or if the entertainment is half decent have a look for half an hour. As we dont go out to the pub at home much the 3 boys enjoy it, but I do agree I would hate to see loads of English Pubs after all the reason we come to CSV is because its so quiet and the sea is crystal clear.
So perhaps if we didnt have children we would also have to agree with you 100%.

Hello Dolgoed,

I've just seen your original post about Trotters back in December of last year and you said then that you wouldn't want to see too many of these sort of places about.

At least we're all in agreement then!!

Is there a Trotters in PP as well?

I have a vision of little pigs running around but is the place named after the characters in "Only Fools and Horses"?

The mind boggles!

Jane
