High chairs

Hi, new to the forum and taking our first trip with 7 month baby daughter in a few weeks. can anyone please tell me if most restaurants in pp have a good supply of baby highchairs?

Yes you will find that most places are very child friendly and high chairs are provided .

Indeed they do. Stopped me falling over many times after one too many tintos

There's plenty of children seats in the PP restaurants, but quite a few of them don't have straps in my experience.

You might want to bring a harness along (and remember to not leaving it on the restaurant chair ...).

Mike is right - they are often the 'traditional' wooden chairs which you push right up to the table - they look lovely but I never really trusted them. Some of them have a wooden bar across which is meant to anchor the child in place but my daughters soon worked out how to remove that. Definitely take a harness! Or keep your daughter in her pushchair and feed her there.

I have noticed that some of the restaurants have two types of highchair,the wooden one mentioned by Kate 1 and also a plastic one IKEA type. When we had my little grandson here they offered us the choice.
