Default Numero Ocho - Pollensa Old Town

Anyone tried this recently? Good reviews on other web sites, but would prefer comments from members of this forum. I get the impression it's either a (perhaps not so ) cheap and cheerful Pizza Joint, or a more upmarket Italian restaurant.

Any opinions would be much appreciated.

We went there for an evening meal with some friends last year and were amazed at the difference from when we have been at lunch time.
A perfectly good restaurant for a lunch time snack and a bit of people watching, but it excelled itself in the evening for the food!
If it hasn't changed hands or chef this year, then I would certainly recommend it pinewalker!

Love Número Ocho. Run by Paco who has strong Scottish connections (Pacos in Perth). Great food and service. Would strongly recommend for breakfast / brunch. Worth booking a table for the evening

went there last year at lunch time and had a pot of mussels. They were fantastic. Lovley cream sauce bread and a portion of chips.
Also went this year but in the evening. Lovley place to eat and people watch. Calamari a little greasy and the mussels came in a small bowl but still very nice.
A little pricy too but worth a visit.
