Default Sunday lunch

Hi

We arrive a week on Wednesday for our 6th or 7th visit to PP, woohoo!

But...Does anyone know of anywhere that does a Sunday lunch? A simple yorkshire pudding, some roast meat, new potatoes and veg would do me

Thanks!

I know it takes all sorts and the choice is yours and it is available, but somewhat mystified that one would want to travel to the Balearic Isles for YP, Meat and 2 Veg. Though as Sparky says H.K. and N. are decent places and will produce an excellent meal.
There are other interesting options available!
On the other hand we all have an Italian, Chinese, Indian, etc., in the UK now and again!
(hope I don't get into trouble for saying this!)

If you combined a trip to the Sunday market in the old town with Sunday lunch, you couldn't do better than El Moli - not British style meat and two veg, but equally good (better in my view) - choices such as suckling pig or sea bass, with delicious starters and pudding. No Yorkshire pudding though but the meal is very filling so doubt you would need it!

I'm more mystified your need to comment on my post?

I a not travelling to the Balearic Isles FOR yorkshire pudding, roast beef and 2 veg, No, I'm going for a nice relaxing break... and no doubt during my holiday I will be eating... bread, olives and alioli, suckling pig, lots of seafood, dare I say egg and bacon... and YES, a roast dinner!

What ever is going on here that people feel they have the right to pass value judgements on others and what they eat and where they eat it?? For goodness sake so what If someone wants to eat Yorkshire pudding or black bird pie - it is up to them and nothing to do with anyone.
A simple question was asked and now a big thing about Yorkshire pudding? Unbelievable!

I believe that everyone works hard to be able to have a holiday and to be able to eat and drink whatever they wish no matter where they choose to take their holiday. Thankfully here in PP we are blessed with many restaurants serving all manner of food so most tastes can be catered for.
What suits one may not suit another but as the saying goes "vive la difference" and long may it remain.

Remember that all the eateries here, whatever nationality food is served do contribute to the local economy which keeps this beautiful place going. Without them there would be no Puerto Pollensa so please lets show some respect to all members preferences, thank you .

Thanks Eleanor and Sparky.

The ironic thing is every time we visit PP I always say to my better half that I'd like a Sunday lunch, but... never feel like it once we arrive!

However we will be visiting H.K and Nostalgia and we arrive in 8 days

There are more "Italian" & Chinese eateries in the port than Authentic Mallorcan !!
