Default C'an Pere

While wandering in Alcudia old town recently came across this tiny hotel/restaurant.

When walking in to the old town we'd always gone through the market place , however this time, on getting off the bus, as you face the new centre at the bus stop, go to the left of it and straight in to the narrow streets of the old town

C'an Pere is less than 100yards in on the left.
A blackboard was showing an MDD at 8.50 Euros, two starters, two mains for choice, but it was only 12 noon so a bit early to try it!

Had a look inside and it is a most attractive little place and the reviews on Trip Advisor speak well, other than comments on church bells!

Anyone tried it?

Funnily enough we noticed this hotel for the first time when we were out recently and thought it looked lovely. Would be a lovely place to stay before/after a holiday for a couple of nights or perhaps for a long weekend....ever hopeful!!!! I too would love to know if anyone has stayed there and what their thoughts were on it

I know this a very old thread but we lunched here last week. It is gorgeous. MDD is still 8.50 and the food was superb. Lovely courtyard through the back with sun and/or shade. Really lovely staff.

I can't believe we haven't tried it before. It has a huge glass panel in the floor of the entrance hall which looks down into what I think is an old well. Something a bit different!

Anyway I can't imagine anyone could go there and not like it!

I looked on their website afterwards and the hotel rooms look so pretty too.

We always look in here as we pass....but that's just it we always pass....and eat somewhere else. I think it might be on our 'to do list' for July. It certainly sounds like good value for money. I think the rooms look beautiful too

We came across this little hotel whilst strolling around Alcudia old town one Sunday last September. We decided on an early lunch as the market was so busy. There was a good selection on the menu (can't remember what we had now) but very fresh and good value. Filled up quickly and good atmoshphere.

We rarely visit Alucdia (old town or Marina) despite planning to and agree with Ragdollabbi that it would be a good place to spend a weekend or a few days before or after PP. We have done this with the old town and went to restaurants that we had always said we would visit - however,as soon as we arrive in PP we just relax and apart from the Sunday market in the old town stay put!
