Default San Pedro Fiestas in Port de Alcudia

I have not got the programme yet but next week the fiestas commence in Port de Alcudia. There will be a week of musical and sporting and cultural events leading up to the 29th June which is San Pedro who is the patron saint of fisherman. An attractive boat and land procession takes place at about 6 or 7 and then live music at about 2200hrs and then a really wonderful firework dispaly at midnight on the harbour. Worth driving or taking a taxi to Alcudia for. You can take the last bus over there and then a taxi back - you will not regret it and I am sure that the programme will be readily available soon.
Also, this year we are having a small programme of events in PP. If I remember from the sign I saw today, there is a childrens party on the 27th with live music and free slush for the kids (not Big kids like us!) and then 28th there are bar b qued sardines for the locals around the harbour and live music until late. It will be a pleasant atmosphere I am sure and more low key than the main fiestas in middle of July.
See you all there ..
