Thumbs up Wheelchair friendly Days out....

Just a thread that folks might like to add to !

C'an Pastilla

Pros:
Seems to have had a facelift since last we were there and very clean & tidy.
Almost car free prom that appears to go on for miles and is very flat and well maintained with lots of watering holes/ shops.
BEACH/PROM- At the end nearest the airport/ marina/old town - there is a beach walk way (running parallel to and at the backof the beach) that means you can get wheelchchair right down to the beach.
RESTAURANTS -The marina prom area offered more selection & some upmarket restaurants.
Some nice 'chill' type bars around the marina area of the prom.
Very near Palma so nice walk along the prom after the biz.

Cons :
Restaurants along the prom ( tho we didnt walk all the way to Arenal) were snacky/ self service type of places, usual menus but nothing special.
We didn't find any disabled parking as we entered the resort ( from the airport) near the beach (tho we did get parked very near the beach, no fee and no time limit).

Please add to this thread... as it is invaluable to others who have a wheelchair in tow or don't like hills !
