Errazuriz Merlot 2004 is Back!!!!

We took the plunge and bought a bottle of Errazuriz in Tesco's in France despite disliking the 2003 vintage.

Last night I decided to open a bottle and wow!!! it's back to the Errazuriz I know and love.

We drank it with our BBQ and it was perfect. The label has changed and it is now a screw-top affair so I can once again recommend it.

Please don't touch the 2003 vintage unless you like wine that tastes of rotten green peppers!!

Just saw today that Sainsbury's had this. I didn't buy because I had to come home to check that the vintage was right. They had 2004 so will buy next time.

I will be opening a couple of bottles tonight as we have friends around for a meal and I'm so glad that it's back up to standard!

Just stay away from the 2003 vintage! I gave away my last two bottles of it the other day!!
