Default Pinot Grigio Fans - Spanish Similar Please?

Hi all

Me and my DH are big fans of pinot grigio and were wondering if anyone could recommend a good spanish wine to try similar to pinot?

Many thanks - Angie

Can't think of anything like pinot grigio but Torres Vina Sol is a fairly crisp dry white wine. Its available over here in the UK in most supermarkets - but like a lot of these things it tastes better in the heat of a Mallorquin summer

Hello Angie - I would say try white Rioja made from thr Viura grape variety but look for ones that are pale in colour, as these would indicate little or no oak ageing, producing light dry wines. You could also try wines from the Verdejo grape, but these will be a little more fragrant and floral. The Spanish regard it as their Sauvignon Blanc.
