Guys,
We have tried, we have really tried, to like the local white wines - but we are afraid to say that they are nothing compared to the New Zealand white wines that we can get in the UK. (Try a Montana Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand available from Sainsbury, and you will see why. We are not wine buffs - we rarely spend more than 7 pounds a bottle)
Having toured all the supermarkets and Bodegas we cannot find much other than spanish wines. There is the token one or two bottles of French or Australian wines, but nothing significant. Does anyone know why?
