Default Tennis Courts to hire / Lessons

Hi,

I am coming across for a few weeks in July and was hoping to be able to get tennis lessons and / or hire courts for my family.

From historical posts I see that lessons were available from Rafa, does anyone know if this is still the case?

We stay in the Llenaire area so know the closest courts to us would be at the Uyal and Pollensa Park but does anyone know if these are able to be rented by non residents ?

Thanks

Yes, Rafa is still giving tennis lessons....You can contact him via the Batucada bar which he also runs.

The cafe that goes with the leisure centre( next to the tennis courts) is also worth a visit. Tapas and beer.

rafa will give you lessons wherever there is a court in pp but tends to do most at the illa'dor courts (think from memory he books the court there himself early, early mornings)

if you contact him at batucada will advise no doubt, would of pm'd you his number but lost Bberry recently and lost loads of numbers with it

My grandsons are visiting and would love a couple of games of tennis. Can anybody advise where they can get a game? Are there courts at Pollensa Park. Can they also hire rackets at the courts? If they use the municipal courts, where do they go to book the court?

Many thanks in anticipation of your helpful answers.

Am reviving a flagging thread, by asking the same question.

A friend of mine would like to buy a property in the Pollensa area but will not contemplate doing so unless he can play his regualr game of tennis.

Apart from the Municipal courts, the Duva and Illa D´Or ones, does anyone know ot other alternatives as I would imagine that the hotel ones close during the low season ?.

Thanks.

I would imagine the courts in the old town at the sports centre would be open all year
