Our daughter told us about this lovely little 'taberna' in Pollensa..she's practically a local now and appears to know everyone in the old town and the Port! She was greeted warmly by the owner and chefs and we had fantastic service for the entire meal.
Situated opposite El Cantonet it appears tiny but there is a pretty courtyard at the back. Very popular with the locals and some interesting and different things on the menu. We had mixed tapas to start which included 'steak pies' which turned out to be delicious spicy tarts filled with minced ox tail
Mains included lamb shank which was succulent and fell of the bone and pork fillet in honey and curry sauce (sounds odd but was lovely). These were served with a great selection of vegetables, cooked to perfection and not soggy and swimming in oil as a lot of places seem to do.
Very reasonably priced and one we'll certainly return to ..a good find!

Ps After the meal Vicki took us to a bar just round the corner for a night cap and to meet her friends. Four La Mumbas later we staggered home...oh dear my head the next day
