Hi I am arriving in Pollensa Easter Sunday mid day ish and was wondering whether any supermarkets / shops etc will be open sunday / monday ?
thanks

Hi

On a regular Sunday most supermarkets close for the day sometime between 1pm and 2pm so I think you will probably be out of luck. I am not sure what the arrangements will be for Easter Monday but you might be better to bring a few essential items with you.

thanks Sharonh - the British foodshop in PuertoPollensa have said they are open until 2pm on easter sunday , so might just get there on time !

Just to let you - and anyone else who is wondering about this - the large supermarkets - caprabo and SYP for example are open Friday, Sunday and Monday in the morning only until about 1330/1400hrs. Hope you manage to get here in time - if not you can always find a little supermarket (Voramar maybe or a sea front one or Pollensa Park road) open Sunday afternoon somewhere - for some essentials and all the bars and restaurants will be open so you won`t go hungry!! Have a great Easter. Be sure to check out the bakers for chocolate eggs and figurines as well as lovely pastries. . . .

Thanks for the info JMD40. I can't wait to try the chocolate eggs!

Thanks JMD40 - weve ordered a hamper to be delivered as I think we wont get to Pollensa until 2.30 - 3.00pm on the easter sunday - should keep us going until the next day !!:p
