Default Sa Pobla Shopping Help

To all you lovely forum users.

We fly out next week and will be staying in Crestatx for a change from the Port.

Can any locals advise on location or directions of a suitable supermarket in Sa Pobla area which I think will be nearer to us for shopping purposes.

Is there a large supermarekt in Sa Pobla for big shop and other store for daily stuff i.e. bread, milk?

Thanks in advance to anyone who has any info.

Hi Pluto, not sure of the layout of Sa Pobla, but found this bit of info for you if its any use;
Supermarkets: Sa Pobla, Mercado is near the main square in Carrer Gran, the Euroski is near the Centre Cultural and is just off Carrer del Doctor Gomez. There is also a great fresh fish shop just off the main square.

Have also found this; It has a map too if you click on the tag!

Hi Pluto,
Remember you have the Meson Crestatx restaurant. Excellent value and some take away food. The nearest supermarket is Eroski. Good Sunday market in Sa Pobla square area. Coffee and cake in the square good value and cheaper than at the coast. Have a lovely time. We are going for our hols in Crestatx in October. Counting the weeks and can't wait.

Have a look at Meson de Crestatx - restaurant in Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Majorca (Mallorca)

Pluto, as soon as you drive towards Sa Pobla from the bypass, there is a large, fairly new Eroski more or less straight in front of you, on the right, with a large car park. You can't miss it.

Depends which way you mean, there is one between the town and the port, just as you leave the town heading toward the sea

Basically large supermarket nearest to Crestatx area. We always used the one near seaplane roundabout when staying in Puerto Pollensa, but am thinking there must be another closer to Crestatx either towards Sa pobla or Pollensa Old Town.

I think I remember seeing an Eroski just after passing Pollensa Old town. thanks

You're probably thinking of the one SWS mentioned, ie between the old town and the port. That's the nearest big one this side of Crestatx, but I would say the nearest to Crestatx is probably Sa Pobla. There are smaller supermarkets right in Pollensa old town, but not on the main road.
