Question Bakery needed for birthday cake?

Hi all,

I will be travelling to PP in June 2011 with my husband, 2 children and parents to celebrate my Father's 50th birthday...we will be staying on Pine Walk - can anyone recommend a good, quality local bakery where we can order a birthday cake from?

Thanks
Lisa

I have bought excellent cakes from Las Delicias they are at the Flora Apts end of Roger de Flor.

I am pretty sure this birthady cake came from Las Delicias - Sparkys address sounds right.
Ten Euros for a 6 year olds birthday cake was worth every penny. The lady in the newsagents at the end of Calle Formentor also recommended Las Delicias.
There were no crumbs left after the 'party' at Laroc.

Not 100 % sure as never had the need to order a special cake.

There is a really nice bakery as you arrive at the junction of
Calle Formentor and Calle Juan. Its straight across called Payeras.

Worth a try
