Here are the average prices per kilo in the market this week.
Tomatoes = 1.10 to 1.30
Potatoes = 80c
Cabbage = 1.20
Lettuce = 90c Iceberg = 1.10
Peppers = 1.40 to 1.60
Carrots = 1€
Onions = 90c to 1€
Lemons = 1€
Cucumber = 1.50
Strawberries = 4€
Cherries = 5€

I am waiting for the supermarkets to issue the next fortnightly special offers before i post any more prices.

Here are a few Eroski offers for the next week :-

Whole chicken approx 1.8 kg = 1.79.
Pork fillet = 6€ per kg.
Chicken pieces = 3€ per kg.
Barra = 65c.
Eggs = 2€ per doz.
Golden Grahams = 2€.
Kingsmill bread = 2.21.
Tetley teabags = 1.79 for 40.

Arriving in PP on Sunday 27th March for a week in an apartment. This is our first visit to Mallorca. Are there any supermarkets in PP open on Sunday afternoons for a few essentials such as coffee, milk etc to do us until Monday morning. Hiring a car for the week and will appreciate any help on recommended visits during the week.

There is a small supermarket called Rosa's on the Calle Bot,this is the road which leads to the Pollensa Park also Josefina's on the corner of the Virgin del Carmen just back from the sea front nearer to the marina which will be open. There may also be more open on the front by then but the main supermarkets all are closed by 2pm.

smg, unfortunately they don't open every Sunday . Only about 6 a year.
