Where to buy cigarettes?

Hi all

We have booked a villa in Pollensa Town for two weeks in June and cant wait. Its our first time to Pollensa and this is a great forum for information.

Just wondered if anyone could tell me if there is a Tabac in Pollensa town? and also, where is cheapest place (town/PP) to buy cigarettes to take home?

Hi Angie,

Im not sure about Pollensa Town but if you´re around Puerto Pollensa the cheapest place that ive found to buy cigarettes is in the shop next to the irish bar O´Hara´s just off the main square. It´s also the best place to buy alchohol too... extremely cheap.

In the old town there is a Tabac just off Font de Gall next to C'an costa as was.

Ciggies tend to be more or less the same price everywhere bar the odd cent as their sale is regulated by the gov.

Have used all the Tabacs in the Port and Town, the price of my brand is the same in all of them.

Thank you all for your replies, its handy to know that I can buy cigarettes in the town and will stock up from the shop next to the Irish bar in PP to bring some home with me if they work out a bit cheaper

We used to smoke Marlboro Lights but then switched to Gold Coat lights when somebody introduced us to them. A tad stroger but at least 1 euro a pack less. Might be worth trying as you can save alot. They come in various strenghts.

We found cigarettes the same price in every resort we visited a few weeks back.

Three shops in PP spring to mind. Tabac shop kust off the roundabout at the port, shop just off the square and Little Dover.

Mayfair were 25 Euros per sleeve. Free bottle of Whiskey with every 6 sleeves.
