Puerto Pollensa Market

Myself and my wife are flying out on Tuesday 27th May to Cala San Vicente for a weeks holiday and we enjoy the market on Wednesday at Puerto Pollensa, In the past we have visited the market in the morning, can anyone tell me what time it usually starts up and finishes?

Hi St. Stephen,

It starts - well I guess early - we have never made it before it was all set up but it's certainly quieter around 9 am! It finishes around lunchtime. If you wander by around 1 pm you can't move for the lorries packing up.

The weather today was back again to lovely sunshine which resulted in a very busy market day.

I personally think the best time to visit is around 10.30ish . After that time there are so many people i tend to find it a little uncomfortable. Hope you are able to pick up the odd bargain

Having stayed at the Hostal Borras in a room overlooking the square - they start setting up very early!

Think it was about 6.30am - 7.00am - something like that. Great fun watching them all set up though as all the market traders were chattering away to each other - loudly!!

We obviously didn't mind too much though as we stayed there again the following year!

I can't remember exactly what time it was all set up - but think that it is probably about 8.30 ish...
