Default Fish fingers

We have the grandchildren coming out who love Birdseye fish fingers. The Spanish ones never taste as good

Can anyone make any recommendations?.

Try Lidl / Aldi for ''Iglo '' Backfischstäbchen - Iglo are the same as Birds Eye in Germany.

If Lidl / Aldi dont have them -there was or is a Germany '' Lebensmittel'' shop in Can Picafort on the opposite side of the road to Trotters Bar near a petrol station and diy cum ironmongers shop called Habit or something similar

The Birds Eye brand is used extensively throughout the UK and Ireland. In other parts of Europe the Iglo brand is used

Strangely enough some friends left some Lidl fish fingers in our freezer and I was going to chuck them out as I didn't think we'd eat them. However the other day when we stayed in and I couldn't be bothered to cook, and had a hangover (which was probably the main reason ) I decided fish finger sandwiches were the order of the day! They were really delicious and definitely as good as Birdseye.

They will definitely be on my shopping list for the future

I love a good fish finger sandwich. Must say a lot of the ones sold here are not good but i do like Hyper Centro own brand (Merluza) hake fish fingers .
