Don't get depressed, every thing is normal for mid October. You will still find it is warmer than in the UK, it's 17c as i type this and the sun has made an appearance albeit briefly. I love this...

I think it's quite normal at the time of year for all hotels and the beach company, there are less people here so they start to pack things away especially when the weather is deteriorating :).
