How far did "Pine Drive" go in those days? Was any of it pdestrianised?

Right, is this a guess the date photo/card then? I reckon, by looking at the cars that its about 1968.

Looks great,nice color etc, shame we can`t enlarge it and check the width of the flares

Some nice old pix in the Mirramar lobby dating back to its early days, vintage cars outside etc. A bygone era but makes you think what a holiday in PP must have been like back then. Worth a look if you are passing.
Would be great to see more old pix of PP on here so we can work out whats become what etc.

Dave - the road ran all the way along to the start of the Pine Walk and continued down behind the front line properties on the pine walk.

I personnaly think it had more character then

The photos are fab!

I know exactly where they are, specially having enjoyed two stays in the building works, after they were finished of course!

Wonder how many recognise where it is?

Great photo's I believe the new building works are THE FLORA.
The photo being taken from the Roger de Flor / Mendez Nunez crossroads.
Mendez Nunez runs down to Calle de Formentor then down towards the Pine Walk.
Have stopped in apartments opposite the Flora before now.
Mendez Nunez is also the home of Pepe's Bar (with Pepe the parrot), if I remember correctly.
Unfortunately I don't remember Gina's Music Bar. Any clue to the date of the old photo.
What date was Flora built? I would guess at the early to mid 1980's? But not sure.

Great foto Gina! Thats been taken from the exact position from our apartment! which i believe were the first new builds in the area. There was nothing to the left and the oldies tell me you could watch the shepards taking their sheep up the mountain. It's certainly the Flora under construction, mid to late 80's i would reckon
