Filming outside Tammerells

Does any one actually know what was being filmed outside of Tammerrells earlier this month?. There were different stories hinted at, with main gossip topic being it was for a German bank.

The rain over the three days kept interrupting 'play' so couldn't follow any possible plot.

If it was the same filming which carried on further up the beach towards Llenaire area, it was for the German car commercial for VW. They actually had a 1960's VW camper on the beach for part of the filming too!

Will we see you "draped across the bonnet" as part of the ad Bella ?

I was there earlier in the month when they were filming at both locations. It was at that time that i first realised I need a hearing test. As my wife and I strutted our stuff one morning I heard the director say. " Ah, just what we are looking for. A good looking couple to stand in as extras ". My wife informed me he actualy said " Did we know of a good looking couple to stand in " (I still prefer my version )

Tonsyl, have you ever tried draping yourself across the bonnet of a VW Camper Van!!? Would have needed a fair bit of velcro to stay stuck on ~ now, there's an interesting out-take!!

The Germans do seem to like the island for their adverts though, I was actually in one for a music ad at Au Canada a couple of years ago, even got paid - with two jugs of Sangria!!
