Top Up your Euro Exchange Rate...
You Guys might think it a bit silly, but thought I would pass onto yourselves what we do to bump up the Euro Exchange Rate without noticing it.....
Put all your spare 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p & 20p coins in one of those terrimundi smash pot money savers at the end of each day, then when full smash open, & take down to the Coinstar in the Supermarket for counting.... Then when you exchange the voucher for cash, take that to the Money Change Bureau in the same supermarket, & then add that to whatever you are changing up anyway..... It feels then (what with the current exchange rate being poor), that at least you do get something extra for your £1...... Silly, but it works for me..... |
great idea....but those pots are quite expensive....do you replace them every time cant be very cost effective if you have to do that every time.....

We have been to Puerto Pollensa twice this year. Price of eating out was the same for both visits. Prices in the supermarkets were the same. There was little dfference in price in the markets.
As far as exchanging money is concerned, the best way I find to do this is to use my dobit card in any of the banks' ATM's. The rate is whatever it is on that day. It's just the same as exchanging to Euro in UK. It's very easy. PeRu |
