How to get to Pollensa from PP

Hello

I wonder if you could help me could you advise on the best way to get from PP to Pollensa, walking preferably.

After reading Kate's reviews we must try Piccolo Forno.

I have seen the directions on the A-Z thread but haven't been to PP before and don't know distance between the two and if walking is an option.

I think it's about 5 or 6 km if you walk. The most direct route (& they are are building a new path) must be along the Pollensa road! So start at the seaplane roundabout, walk towards the big roundabout with furniture shops etc. on it, cross over & you will arrive at the Roman Bridge end.

But if I were you I would get the bus for 1.10 EUR or a taxi for about 9 EUR. See Transport in Puerto Pollensa, Majorca - taxis, bus, trains, airport transfers

Regardless of eating at Piccolo Forno, you must visit Pollensa town. It's a fascinating old town with narrow streets, a market square (market on Sunday), churches, the calvario with its 365 steps....

Having had holidays in PP for 26 years and since December living here, i can say we have walked, cycled, taxied, bussed and driven and i would recommend the public bus as the easiest, cheapest way to do it.
