Default Sea plane accident?

Afternoon all

One more day to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was talking to a guy in my local pub who got back last week and he tells me that he was told that the Sea plane crashed into the bay either late last year or early this year! He says that the crew were killed.
Is this true?
I thought there would have been mention of it somewhere on the site. I may have missed it while I was off line.
I do hope it's not true

Morning all!

I was thinking after all this........is there any information on line about these planes and the base that you know of? I seem to draw a bit of a blank with my searches.

Jonesy,
If you go to site http://aviation-safety.net/database/...?id=20030325-1
It gives you the details of the accident.

I have just remembered reading about a light aircraft crashing on the night Spain won Euro 2008. It happened just outside Sa Pobla on a farm. Read it in the Daily Bulletin on-line. Maybe he had heard this somewhere.
