Yes, I did get impression that this cat had belonged to someone as her left ear had been snipped to indicate neutered, just wondered who fed her. Did feel sorry for her though if no home, not nice to just abandon her. Is it people living around that feed her?

On Wednesday 8th November 2017, the newly formed Pollensa Cats Protection Group will be holding a meeting in St Andrews Anglican Church from 11am to 1.30pm to advise, discuss and inform anyone interested in their plans for looking after & neutering the feline strays in the town and local area.

Coffee and cake will also be available.

Just picked up on this thread after reading Lorenzos post. The cat by Sea Bar is called Fiona and was first seen by us at the Romantic Hotel in 2005. She has been "looked after" by various folk from the chef at the Romantic, the pharmacists nearby and a lady who worked at Villa Parade when they had the Edifico Siberis. In fact she has been looked after well and, as said earlier, has been in and out of the vets on numerous occasions. We normally look for her when we are in PP but missed her a couple of weeks ago when we were there.

Those of you who knew beautiful Fiona will be sad to hear that she finally died of old age Thursday 17th of August.

I echo Brisbane's comments, sad news indeed. There were a lot of people around that part of PP who looked out for Fiona, both residents and holidaymakers.
