This is a thread of photos from my holidays from the late 60's and early to mid 70's - I hope they work!

This is a picture of the tables on the beach side of the road opposite Brisas, Cactus and Iru bars in the 70's

Lol, are the pics on Flickr GG?

Lovely photos WW Keep me going till my next visit !

Looking forward to seeing the old photos Think it was the 70s when we first visited the area then we did have quite a gap late 80s 90s and went to lots of other places until we saw the error of our ways and realised there was nothing better elsewhere and now we are regulars again !

Hola Gommar Goffer, Did you ever have any luck with your pics from the 1960s/70s? Would love to see them.
Editor, TOTN

Hi TOTN - I am afraid that I have been so busy recently that I have not had a chance to even get them on Flickr. Hopefully I will have some time next week:)

There are a few more to come but not as many as I had hoped. I love the photo of The Coach House ( La Cochera) - it was just so bohemian back then. I expect Cedric to walk into view at any moment!

I am the little guy centre photo in the jeans!!

What a dude you were! (The tall guy at the front looks really cool)

Love the photo of La Cochera. Those were the days ...nobody wearing sunscreen, smoking fags, and everyone sitting in bars wearing not a lot!
In 1976 and the two before that I was in El Arenal with a girlfriend ( it wasn't too bad in those days), but I'm so glad I discovered PP when I grew up ;)

We adored the Coach House too, although we didn't visit until the 80s. After 10 days at the Puerto Azul (our boys loved it  ) & eating at their buffet every day, we had to leave our room on the last morning & wait until the afternoon to get the airport coach so our last lunch was always at the Coach House eating Pa Amb Oli - memories! :)
