we have been breaking records for all the wrong reasons, we had the wettest July day ever recorded with a months worth of rain in one day! and almost the coldest grass temperature ever for July at 0.8c

First dry day we've had in Co. Durham for about 6 weeks I think! Also 1c but sunny so I'll take it.

Mind, I could be cheerful in a monsoon today, cos I'm booking our holiday! 6 nights villa in the Old Town, just off the Calvari, then final two nights at the Hotel Bahia to (hopefully) coincide with end of the V del Carmen. Indescribably excited!

looking out of my window in Carlisle the view is similar to that on the web cam, clear blue sky with just a hint of fluffy clouds, there the similarity ends its very windy and only 4 c roll on April to get some warmth
