Exclamation New to the Forum

Thank you for enrolling us onto the forum.
We have been returning to Puerto Pollensa for our Summer holidays for the past five years - once twice in a year. We have mostly stayed in Bahia Pollensa aparthotel. To anyone visiting this site seeking reviews or advice for their holiday booking, we give Bahia Pollensa our wholehearted 5 star recommendation. The staff outshine holiday company reps and the facilities on site are excellent with no fear of rip-off prices in their minimarket or bar and restaurant. The only dismay factor, but as everywhere now, is that our fellow countrymen have adopted a continental practice of booking sun loungers with towels for the whole day whilst they spend a lot of the time in the town or on the beach.

We stayed at a hotel in Teneriffe where sunbed "etiquette" was policed by hotel staff. If towels, books etc were left on sun beds while their owners chose to be elsewhere, they were removed to reception for collection. It worked rather well!

Welcome to the forum, by the way.

We saw that happen last year. The thing that the holiday makers fail to recognise is that there are ample sun-loungers but up to 50% at any time are occupied by towels!
Thanks for your welcome.
