Default Nie identification.

Can anyone advise whether it is possible obtain Nie identification at police stations in the Pollensa area or do you have to go to Palma.
Many thanks in advance.

You have to go to Palma.

If you are buying a property your solicitor/notary can do it but if you are renting long term you have to go to Palma. Either way it cannot be done at a police station.

Sparky, best to specify "local" police, either here or in Palma.

The people who are in charge of this paperwork are the "national" police ( not to be confused with the Guardia Civil ), whose offices, unless I am mistaken, are near the new convention centre.
