Default Ladies Hairdreser

Mrs A is very fussy about her hair and her hairdresser in the UK has moved, so she is looking for one in the PP/Alcudia area. She would prefer an English speaking Spanish hairdresser.

Any recommendations would be gratefully received.

I have found Paula R---------o, situated on the main street, just up from O'Lume, to be great, she speaks excellent English and understands what we want and takes a lot of care over her cutting. I have been very pleased with the end result on the 3 occasions that I have visited.

Will come back with the contact details, I do not have them to hand at the moment.

While in PP last month I made an appointment with a local hairdresser.I arrived a few minutes early and waited and waited! No one approached me to say hello or tell me they were running late.Meanwhile other customers came in and were dealt with while I am still waiting. After 55 minutes I left .Can anyone tell me is this normal in hairdressers in PP please ?

Absolutely not Kaycee. I have used 3 different salons since i moved here, i was not happy with the cutting at the first one so moved to another which was recommended by an expat, i was always happy with it but it was very expensive for what was basically a trim every 4 to 6 weeks, the 3rd one which i have been using for about 2 years now is fantastic, they always give me a great cut and it's half the price i was paying at the previous salon.

The stylists in the first two spoke very good English but in the one i use now it's so good (not a problem for me as my Spanish has improved) but what i found in all three is that they are friendly and welcoming . I am sorry you had such a bad experience .

If anyone needs a good hairdresser :-

Her name is Kim, she runs a salon in Alcudia during the summer months but does mobile for the other months. She is english.

Her number is 646977548\633088082.

I have used her several times over the past year or so and have been very happy each time.

Default PP hairdresser recommendation

Hi everyone

Is Paula Randazza C/Juan XXIII still operating? I see this thread is from 2012 and I am looking for a fab hairdresser, preferably in the Puerto Pollensa area. She/he has got to be good to deal with my mop - it's naturally extremely curly/frizzy, but I like to wear it straight (well, as straight as the humidity in PP will allow!) Also, at the moment, English-speaking would be a massive bonus, as I'm only on Leccion 6 in my Spanish course!!!

Hi everyone

I've jut got back from the hairdressers - the lovely Paula Randazza on Juan XXIII - and I just wanted to say thank you to Sparky and whaleywanderer for their recommendations. She speaks excellent English, knew exactly what I wanted and dealt with my unruly mop, no problems. Turns out her mum has very similar hair to me! Really reasonable prices too, especially compared to England!
