This is probably not new news but just for info sake I found out that pinturas TREBOL in the round "square" oposite Confort, sells (changes) the large butane gas bottles at € 16 a pop and if you buy some paint or filler will knock a bit off.

He also sticks the bottle in the car for you.

Handy because he is open 6 days a week and saves having to drive up to the Pollensa roundabout on Saturday mornings.

Thanks Molt - that is handy to know!
If we had run out, we used to get ours from Ferreteria de Tot behind the Petrol Station in Puerto Pollensa but they have now closed down.
Luckily, the gas bottle truck also comes down our street every Monday morning so if we are lucky we can use that too, with delivery to the door.

Yes we always get ours from the butano man on Mondays, they even carry the bottles up a few stairs and put it in the lift for us, very helpful .

Talking Lower cost.

As of Tuesday 15th March the cost of a refill will drop by 5% from 13.10€ to 12.40€. This will be the price for the next 2 months when it will be reviewed again .

Yes he does, it's Roger De Flor, Vicent Buades and all the side streets off of these on Monday, the square, C/Formentor and side streets is Thursday and pretty sure Gotmar/Gommar is Wednesday, sorry but don't know any more than that.

The maximum price of the gas cylinder has gone up by 4.7% as of today, from 11.72€ to 12.28€.

Talking

Just bought a bottle of Butáno gas from the lorry yesterday as it passed down Calle Pescador. It cost 14 euros & the kind driver carried it into my apartment.
