Can any member tell me what the procedure is for cancelling a land line
when we set it up many years ago we had to go to Pmi, can it be done in the Port as Telefonica has changed to Movistar.

A couple of friends of mine have recently tried doing this by telephone. The one that rang direct and selected the 'in english' option are still waiting after nearly a year despite ringing several times. The other who got his community administrator to do it was cut off within a month! You could try ringing but also cancel your direct debit that might work.

I have cancelled telefonica (movistar )landlines for two friends, each time by ringing 1004 and selecting English option. You have to give 15days notice and then the line is cancelled. Not had a problem .

You can also go into the Moviestar star shop next to the small Euroski in the Juan XX111 main street.

A few weeks ago i asked if any member had experience in cancelling a land line i took the information from you and called 1004 got through after a few minutes, when i asked to cancel the line i was offered call charges only no rental and only condition was to make a call every 3 mths good deal.
I passed this information to a friend in another apartment and he got the same dealsaving about 40/50 euros a month
