Hi everyone. Thanks to Ray for recommending Terrys car hire, I've now booked with them ! I've put a deposit down for renting an apartment in Cala Sant Vicent called Alba Mar in july next year. Has anyone stayed there or know of it. Its in calle torrent. any info would be very helpful. Many thanks.

Hi sillysausage - if it is where I think it is the apartments are above L'alba restaurant. You will hopefully be looking out to sea over Cala Mollins beach, just dont look down as that is where the main car park is :) There is also building work going on across the road and torrent from L'alba where they are putting up 8 new villas round a pool - but this has been going on all this year and looked well on the way to completion when we were there at the end of September. L'alba was run by Lolly but the last time I was in which was maybe last year she was having a baby so not sure if she is still there. CSV is a lovely place and IMHO Cala Mollins is the best beach. Have you had a look on Google earth as you can see quite alot of CSV to get your bearings. Hope this has helped ;)

Got something right at last!! A first for me. Don't know the apartment but CSV is a beautiful little place in summer and winter, you did right to get a hire car to make the most of the surrounding area though. have a brilliant time

Thanks

Thanks again Ray. You hear so many stories of car rental firms taking money from your credit card for damage you didn't do.Trying to prove otherwise once you get home is almost impossible.Trying to get the rental rep to leave their desk and check the car over on pick up when theres 20 people waiting isn't going to work either! So many possible probs, its one less stress to deal with a British run company who want repeat business. Can't wait till summer now......may even pop out at easter :)
