Help somewhere to stay ?????

many thanks for all your help already family now what to join us on holiday we are staying at the bahia pollensa apartments ( not the bahia hostel )
Does any members know any hotels/apartments/private apartments that are near to the bahia pollensa
Or any help in finding nice clean place to stay
these are the apartments/hotels we have been looking at
Galeon hotel
Valentin puerto azul hotel
Villa concha
Flora apartments
Hotel Juma
Which would members say are the best to worst
They are a family of 3 dont like anywhere too british not too big/crowded not bother about nightlife but do what somewhere with a pool

Yes a family of 3 two adults one nine year old
Dont like somewhere loud and rowdy somewhere where you dont have to be up a 6 in the morning too get a sunbed ( if there is such a place) rather have a small and freindly place than a big overcrowded place somewhere not full of british lager louts but i dont think it is like that in pp

I meant if you are thinking of staying at the Villa Concha... run away from the place, dont walk. Its all the things you don't want!

1. Galeon hotel - I have only visited this to collect keys for an apartment but it appears to be very nice indeed. Looked to be a good quality hotel and it was very peaceful there when I called in. It is also very close to Bahia Pollensa.
2. Valentin puerto azul hotel This is quite a large family complex the other end of Puerto Pollensa (i.e. pinewalk end) It has more than one pool and a childrens club there. Airconditioned. Evening entertainment too.
3. Villa concha - lively family hotel - lots of children. In Pinaret - closer to Bahia Pollensa than Flora and Puerto Azul but likely to be quite noisy. Regular entertainment.
4. Flora apartments - High season difficult to get sun beds and lots of children. Small pool area compared to Puerto Azul. Air conditioning in flats. Very clean. Excellent staff but again wrong end of PP
5. Hotel Juma - do not know this I am afraid.Think it might be in Pollensa itself.

My choice would be Galeon but I do not know how it compares costwise.

Galeon!

It's on the sea-front.
It's round the corner from the Bahia Pollensa Aparthotel.
It is not a huge place.
It has good food.
It has a small pool for residents.

Hotel Juma is in Pollensa town, if you want to stay in the old town I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Son Sant Jordi - excellent all round

Hello all many thanks for all your help/advice
Really thought i had found the ideal place in The Galeon but every travel site i have been on they are fully booked these must book up early as they look lovely time is running out now and i am back to square one now
maybe i was asking too much
a hotel or apartment near to the bahia pollensa apartments the galeon was ideal lovely big apartments,close to the bahia,pool,not too big and overcrowed well back too looking is the hobby club near too the bahia also has anyone stayed at these are they nice

Probably clutching at straws, but have you tried the villa/apart to rent section on here. Some of the private owned apartments are on
smaller/quieter complexes away from the centre.

If you arer looking at a private apartment you could look at the Las Mimosas complex.

Own pool, fairly good standard of accommodation, close to Villa Conch if you want to pop round for some 'entertainment', and between the Bahia Pollensa and the town centre.

If you are looking at a private rental the area you want is 'South, Sandy Beach' - see http://puertopollensa.com/Spain/Majorca/Pollensa/Puerto-Pollensa/South-Sandy-Beach-Area/rentals/ & more specifically in an area called Llenaire. As mentioned above a lot of the apartments are in small blocks often with a communal pool. You can do an Advanced Search & select facilities such as 'pool' etc. & of course search on dates.

Evening all you lot are brill
Looked on here for private rentals there are quite a few lovely ones looking at one in detail 3 bedroom apartment with shared pool if i want they will set up taxi tranfers and will let us go in midweek which is brill as wanted tuesday to tuesday for 568 gbp for the week just left to check if its in the right area

i would highly recommend you have a look at puerto pollensa-holiday rentals.co.uk website they have quite a few apartments in the port and are very reasonably priced
