Yes, I am fully aware you must cover your costs, but there are paid for advertisers already. Do you realy need Adchoices to survive ?
I agree you need revenue.
I had visited Puerto Pollensa twice and never knew this site existed.
When I did find it, I of course was a guest, as is EVERYONE who finds this site for the first time, so the WHOLE world who looks for information for the first time ( 6 billion people ) WILL see dating sites or whatever random advert Adchoices deem to put up there.
i have said before, people just want information, or to find a place to
stay, then they will go away and never return, having no reason to become a member, so there will be more none members than menbers that will be subject to random adverts, probably a factor of number of members X 100000.
( Edited 12:28, the link in red or blue above, which reads "stay" does not send me to places to stay! but to
Restaurants, Cafes, Bars in Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Majorca Mallorca )
Info;
Estimated Traffic (visits) for Puertopollensa.com / year = 650,000
Google Rank page = 3
So a little time spent talking to adchoices would be appreciated by the members, and the thousands more none members so that guests dropping in for the first time may be made to feel it's a "pucker" site, and would like to join.
i am no prude, but my exploits past and present would make your hair curl, but one has to have standards.
I hope you can sort out this problem.
( For some it is not a problem, but suggest they re-evaluate the implications of having no standards -Such as the free porn on T.V. freeview and constant relentless gambling adds, since Labour devalued our viewing standards in the pursuit of money over standards )
