My daughter was due to travel to Palma with us on 26 aug from leeds with Jet2 and back home again on 30 aug with Ryanair, but shes in the TA and her regiment has been called up to serve in Qatar, so unfortunatley she cannot go, ive contacted both Jet2 and Ryanair and explained the situation but neither company are interested in giving her a refund, so if anyone needs a flight on either of these dates please send me a pm

I am sorry to say that transferring tickets on the lo-cost airlines is not an economic reality. The charges outweigh the cost of booking a new flight in most cases.

I believe The Wob is correct here. Ryanair charges are so great that often it is cheaper to cut your losses and buy a new ticket! - They get you every which way!
