Luggage trolley charge at LBA

We came back from PP a couple of weeks ago, and when we landed at Leeds/Bradford found that the luggage trolleys are now only available for a £1 per trolley, non-returnable payment! We saw lots going to the trolleys (as we did!), and then pull a face and walk away, and only 3 actually paid for one. Just another way of ripping passengers off I guess! Do any other airports now charge for trolleys?

Gatwick charges £1 but you get it back when you return the trolley.

Luton have been charging a pound for about a year now....and it's non refundable

Yeah but the good news is that the proposed £1 drop off charge at Luton for cars has been abandoned cos people were just " dropping" off in the approach road. Power to the People !!!!!
